The Moldovan government approved a digital drug monitoring system and administrative updates during its July 29 cabinet meeting.

The Moldovan government approved several key initiatives during its cabinet meeting on July 29, addressing healthcare, public administration, and infrastructure.

Among the primary approvals was the concept for the Information System for Monitoring Drug Stocks, set to launch in December 2026 to track medicine availability digitally in real time. The meeting also saw personnel changes within the newly invested Tofan administration, accepting resignations and appointing new officials, including an interim deputy secretary general at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

Additionally, ministers reviewed ongoing infrastructure projects ahead of the July 30 tender deadline for expanding the terminal at Chișinău's Eugen Doga International Airport, alongside preparations for the nation's 35th independence anniversary.
