North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski underscored his nation's strong alignment with US policy, defense cooperation, and President Donald Trump following an interview with Breitbart.

North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski has reaffirmed his country's commitment to strategic ties with the United States following an interview with American media outlet Breitbart News and a bilateral meeting during the United Nations General Assembly.

Mickoski expressed strong backing for US President Donald Trump's policy agenda across foreign affairs, energy, and geopolitics. He aligned Skopje's diplomatic stance on international issues concerning Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba directly with Washington. Highlighting defense cooperation, Mickoski noted that US military aircraft routinely utilize domestic infrastructure for operational transit toward the Persian Gulf.

Following his participation at the UN in New York, the prime minister published a photograph alongside Trump, characterizing the bilateral partnership as an "alliance based on trust, support and friendship." Public opinion surveys within North Macedonia demonstrate strong approval for the US administration, according to Mickoski.
