Kyiv hit by fresh Russian raids as EU warns Moscow over Leipzig plot

Russian drone strikes hit Kyiv following Zelensky's UN address, while EU chief Von der Leyen warned Moscow after suspects were linked to explosive drones in Germany.
Russian drone strikes hit Kyiv overnight, injuring a civilian following Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's address to the United Nations General Assembly. Simultaneously, Russia's Defense Ministry announced a campaign specifically targeting Ukraine's energy grid, as Ukrainian retaliatory drone attacks on Russian oil refineries forced Moscow to import fuel. Meanwhile, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen warned that the European Union "will not tolerate attacks on EU soil" after German investigators in Leipzig identified two suspects linked to Moscow over explosive drones.
