Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected the US-backed 15-point Gaza peace framework, demanding the full disarmament of Hamas before any military withdrawal.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has formally rejected a 15-point Gaza peace framework proposed by US President Donald Trump, stating that Israeli forces will not withdraw until Hamas is completely disarmed.

Speaking to his cabinet, Netanyahu declared, "Israel rejects the 15-point document," adding that military forces "will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is genuinely disarmed." The framework had previously been accepted by Hamas, highlighting growing diplomatic friction between Washington and Jerusalem despite a recent pause in major Israeli military operations under US pressure.

Netanyahu's position comes amid domestic political pressure ahead of Israel's national election on October 27, balancing demands from far-right coalition partners against expectations from Washington. Separately, Houthi forces claimed responsibility for strikes targeting Yemen's Mokha port and a Saudi Aramco facility.
