Hungary's Tisza government has canceled a 300B HUF office deal, launched a criminal probe into a state care program, and announced reviews of 4iG satellite contracts.

Hungary's new Tisza-led government has announced a series of contract cancellations, audits, and legal actions regarding major state projects initiated under the previous administration.

Prime Minister Péter Magyar stated Monday that the government is withdrawing from a 300 billion HUF office purchase in Budapest's Zugló district tied to business figures close to former leadership, demanding the recovery of public funds.

Meanwhile, Science and Technology Minister Zoltán Tanács confirmed a review of large-scale state contracts awarded to IT and telecommunications group 4iG, despite Hungary committing €500 million to the European Union’s IRIS² satellite infrastructure. Tanács also dismissed the chief executive of the Government Service Center following allegations of financial mismanagement within the "Gondosóra" senior care initiative, confirming that a formal criminal complaint for misappropriation of funds has been filed.
