Hungary's government has published a decree ordering an extensive audit of all financial and ownership ties with 4iG, while placing a hold on ministerial communications regarding the group.

The Hungarian government has formally ordered an extensive audit into all ownership, financial, and contractual relations between the state and the 4iG Group, according to a newly published government decree. The move deepens the administration's scrutiny of major public contracts awarded under previous leadership.

While the government maintains its commitment to invest €500 million into the European Union's IRIS² satellite program, officials are reconsidering whether 4iG will retain its central role in state-backed space and telecommunications procurement. Concurrently, the cabinet has reportedly instituted a communication embargo across ministries regarding matters involving 4iG, which had rapidly expanded across Hungary's defense, IT, and telecoms sectors in recent years.
