European authorities identify suspects in the Leipzig airport bomb probe while Denmark warns of Russian industrial sabotage.

German authorities have identified two suspects linked to explosive devices discovered at Leipzig airport, identifying them as a Russian citizen with Latvian documentation and a Belarusian holding Russian papers. Security officials indicated that while the Belarusian suspect possessed an Italian Schengen visa, preliminary findings suggest he did not travel through Italy.

The discovery comes as Danish intelligence services issued warnings regarding potential Russian sabotage targeting local industrial facilities. In response to rising security concerns, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that the bloc "will not tolerate attacks on EU soil."

Meanwhile, Russian forces launched a coordinated strike campaign against Ukraine's energy network. Concurrently, Kyiv stepped up drone strikes against Russian oil refineries and fuel infrastructure.
