Moscow targets Ukrainian energy infrastructure as the EU warns against hostile acts on its soil following drone incidents in Germany.

Moscow has launched a dedicated campaign to target Ukraine's energy infrastructure while continuing daily drone strikes on Kyiv, injuring at least one resident. The escalation follows Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's address to the UN General Assembly criticizing Russian aggression.

In response, Ukraine has escalated retaliatory drone attacks on Russian oil facilities, causing localized fuel shortages and forcing Moscow to import fuel.

Concurrently, tensions between Russia and the European Union have heightened following explosive drone incidents near Leipzig, Germany, where local authorities identified two suspects linked to Moscow. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen issued a firm warning, declaring that the bloc is "ready to respond" and will not tolerate attacks on European soil.
