European officials remain on high alert following sabotage attempts and warnings of Russian hybrid threats across member states.

European Union officials have heightened security alerts following warnings of potential Russian hybrid attacks across member states. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen cautioned that "we will not tolerate attacks on EU soil" as German authorities identified two suspects associated with Moscow over an explosive device found at Leipzig Airport. Italian security officials confirmed that one suspect, who held an Italian Schengen visa, had not entered the Schengen area through Italy.

Concurrently, Danish intelligence agencies alerted domestic industrial facilities to heightened risks of Russian sabotage. On the battlefield, Russia launched targeted strikes against Ukraine's energy grid, while Ukrainian drone raids damaged Russian oil infrastructure, forcing Moscow to import fuel.
