Dutch police arrested 24 people in The Hague on Saturday after a far-right demonstration against immigration policies turned violent.

A far-right demonstration against immigration policies in The Hague turned violent on Saturday, leading to police intervention and 24 arrests. Around 500 protesters gathered under the slogan "We are the people" before clashes erupted in the city center. According to authorities, demonstrators threw fireworks, road signs, and other projectiles at officers, prompting police to deploy water cannons and dogs to disperse the crowd. Dutch officials reported that some participants performed Nazi salutes and chanted antisemitic slogans. Local authorities subsequently banned the planned march. Justice Minister David van Weel called for a firm response while thanking law enforcement, and the Dutch prime minister condemned the slogans used during the rally.
