Dutch police have arrested a 24-year-old suspected member of the ShinyHunters cybercrime group following claims of a massive FBI data breach.

Dutch law enforcement officials have arrested a 24-year-old suspect allegedly associated with the cybercrime group ShinyHunters. The arrest follows claims by the hacking collective that it infiltrated an FBI job portal, accessing sensitive personal data belonging to approximately 38,000 bureau employees.

According to reports, the compromised information includes names, home addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers, emergency contacts, and confidential job descriptions. The group also reportedly threatened to publish sensitive records, including employees' medical and psychiatric evaluations. Many FBI staff members reportedly learned about the security incident through media reports.

Dutch police confirmed the operation targeting the suspect, though further details regarding potential extraditions or formal charges have not yet been released.
