Beijing has published additional details regarding the recent bilateral talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and United States President Donald Trump. While the discussions yielded a few specific agreements, the summit concluded without a joint diplomatic statement or major breakthroughs.
Instead, both nations released independent summaries of the proceedings, highlighting persistent caution in relations between Washington and Beijing despite public displays of warmth. Official accounts from both sides focused on incremental progress rather than comprehensive policy alignments, emphasizing ongoing negotiations on trade and security.
