A Russian missile strike on Kyiv killed at least nine people and injured 28 others, including four children, local authorities reported on Saturday.

At least nine people were killed and 28 others injured, including four children, following a Russian ballistic missile attack on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, on Saturday, according to local officials. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko warned residents on Telegram shortly before the strikes, writing that "explosions echo in the city" and urging citizens to seek cover in bomb shelters. Emergency services were deployed across the city to manage casualties and clear debris as local authorities continue assessing the damage from the strikes.
