Alphabet disclosed a $94 billion stake in SpaceX as the "Magnificent Seven" tech giants lost nearly $797 billion in market value in a single trading session.
Alphabet, the parent company of Google, revealed a $94 billion holding in SpaceX, amounting to approximately 6% of the tech giant's total market value. According to financial disclosures, $80 billion of the stake is bound by short-term sale restrictions, while $14.1 billion remains locked under long-term conditions extending into late 2027.
The disclosure coincides with a sharp downturn across major technology equities.
