US First Lady Melania Trump confirmed the completion of a humanitarian mission in the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky, Kherson region, which evacuated nearly 800 civilians and delivered vital assistance. Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets and Trump previously verified that route demining was finalized to ensure safe passage across the area.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to Trump for her mediation, alongside Lubinets and his team. Zelensky honored the US First Lady with the Order of Princess Olga, First Class, recognizing her personal contributions to humanitarian support and efforts regarding Ukraine's vulnerable populations. Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova also acknowledged the operation, stating that the agreement proceeded smoothly with a high level of coordination between all participating parties.
