US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian operatives with directing a global network to carry out targeted attacks and assassinations against supporters of Ukraine.

United States federal authorities have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with orchestrating targeted assassinations and sabotage campaigns across North America and Europe. According to the Department of Justice, the suspects recruited a global network to monitor and attack individuals and entities supporting Ukraine, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

In a related development, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service announced that Russian hybrid operations have escalated, reporting direct physical sabotage against Danish defense companies manufacturing military equipment for Kyiv. Authorities noted that these covert actions reflect a broader effort to disrupt international military aid.
