US prosecutors unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives, while Danish intelligence reported Russian sabotage targeting defense firms.

US federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives for conducting an assassination and sabotage campaign targeting supporters of Ukraine across Europe and North America.

According to the Department of Justice, the suspects recruited a global network of operatives to carry out surveillance and attacks, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five individuals remain at large.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Moscow has executed physical sabotage attacks against Danish defense manufacturers producing military hardware for Kyiv. Danish authorities framed the developments as a notable escalation in Russian hybrid warfare against Western nations supporting Ukraine.
