US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over covert assassination and sabotage plots targeting Ukraine allies, as Denmark reports Russian attacks on its defense firms.

United States federal prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian intelligence operatives for conducting a covert campaign of assassinations and sabotage targeting supporters of Ukraine across Europe and North America. According to a newly unsealed indictment in Manhattan, the suspects recruited individuals globally to surveil and eliminate targets, including orchestrating a June 2024 attack in Prague. All five individuals remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service revealed that Moscow has executed physical sabotage against Danish defense firms providing equipment to Ukrainian forces. Danish officials described the operations as a heightened phase in Russia's hybrid warfare strategy intended to disrupt Western military assistance.
