US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over global plots targeting Ukraine supporters, while Denmark reported Russian physical sabotage against military suppliers.

United States federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with plotting targeted assassinations and sabotage across Europe and North America. The Department of Justice stated that the Kremlin-backed network recruited individuals to track and eliminate supporters of Ukraine, including orchestrating an attack in Prague in June 2024. All five suspects remain at large.

In parallel, the Danish Security and Intelligence Service presented data at a security conference in Copenhagen indicating an escalation in Russian hybrid warfare. Danish officials reported that Russian operatives executed physical sabotage against local defense contractors manufacturing supplies for Ukrainian armed forces, marking an expanding effort to disrupt Western military assistance to Kyiv.
