US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian operatives with global sabotage and murder plots targeting pro-Ukraine figures, while Denmark reported attacks on defense firms.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with orchestrating a global campaign of assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine. Authorities in Manhattan revealed that the network attempted to recruit operatives across North America and Europe to track and eliminate individuals perceived as hostile to Moscow, including an assault in Prague in June 2024. All five suspects currently remain at large.

Concurrently, Danish intelligence officials reported at a conference in Copenhagen that Russian forces have expanded their hybrid warfare tactics. The Danish Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian operatives executed targeted physical sabotage against local defense contractors manufacturing military supplies for Ukrainian forces.
