US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination plots, while Denmark reported Russian sabotage against defense firms.

US federal prosecutors in Manhattan have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence agents accused of orchestrating an international campaign of assassination and sabotage targeting supporters of Ukraine. Authorities allege the network recruited operatives to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks across Europe and North America, including a June 2024 assault in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service disclosed that Russian actors have carried out physical sabotage against Danish defense companies supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish officials described these acts as an escalation in Kremlin-backed hybrid operations designed to undermine Western support for Ukraine.
