US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents with plotting attacks against Ukraine supporters, while Denmark reported sabotage against defense suppliers.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating assassinations and sabotage targeting supporters of Ukraine across North America and Europe. According to an indictment unsealed in Manhattan, the network recruited individuals globally to carry out surveillance and lethal attacks, including a June 2024 assault in Prague. Department of Justice officials stated that all five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian actors carried out physical sabotage against Danish defense contractors providing equipment to Kyiv. Danish authorities described the actions as an escalation in Moscow's ongoing hybrid operations aimed at undermining Western military assistance.
