Ukrainian forces report over 200 daily engagements amid heavy front-line clashes

Ukraine's General Staff reported 221 daily clashes as fighting intensified across Pokrovsk, Kupiansk, Lyman, and Sumy sectors.
Heavy combat has continued along the frontline in Ukraine, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting 221 combat engagements in a single day. Intense Russian offensive efforts were concentrated in the Pokrovsk and South Slobozhan sectors, where Ukrainian forces reportedly repelled dozens of assaults.
Territorial movements were reported across several regions. Ukrainian troops advanced along the Oskil River north of Kupiansk and made gains near Lyman. Meanwhile, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed control over several settlements near Sumy, and Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied Ukrainian progress in Zaporizhzhia.
