A recount in Spandau reassigned a Berlin state mandate to the AfD while analyses highlighted contrasting youth and migrant voting behaviors.

Following Berlin’s state parliament election, detailed voting patterns and administrative updates have emerged. Youth voters turned out strongly for Die Linke, driven by social policy concerns, aligning with pre-election polling that showed the party leading. Concurrently, reporting highlighted distinct trends among residents with a migration background: while overall voter participation within this demographic remains relatively low, some young voters of Turkish origin expressed support for the AfD over concerns regarding public safety, migration, and economic stability.

Administratively, state election authorities corrected a data transmission error in a Spandau constituency. The recalculation reassigned a direct mandate from Bettina Meißner of the CDU to Tommy Tabor of the AfD. As a result of seat distribution adjustments, the state parliament will shrink by five seats.
