Hungary's Tisza administration launched an audit into all state connections with technology company 4iG while reviewing satellite contracts and issuing a communications ban.

Hungary's new Tisza administration has initiated a thorough audit examining all financial, contractual, and ownership connections between the state and technology conglomerate 4iG. Published in the official gazette, the government decree mandates a complete investigation into the firm and its subsidiaries.

In tandem with the review, Science and Technology Minister Zoltán Tanács confirmed a €500 million investment in the European Union's IRIS² satellite initiative. Although Hungary will participate in the space network, 4iG's status as a primary state contractor remains subject to re-evaluation. To maintain strict control over official messaging throughout the probe, the government imposed a gag order prohibiting public officials from speaking on matters regarding 4iG. Responding to the political transition, 4iG adopted a cautious posture, describing itself as a state "partner."
