Ukraine's General Staff reported over 220 combat engagements as Russian forces launched heavy assaults near Pokrovsk, while Ukrainian troops made tactical gains near Kupiansk and Lyman.

Heavy fighting continues across the Ukrainian front lines, with Ukraine's General Staff recording over 220 combat engagements in a single day. The most intense Russian assault efforts were concentrated on the Pokrovsk and South Slobozhan axes, where Ukrainian defenders repulsed dozens of attacks.

Concurrently, tactical movements and conflicting claims emerged across multiple sectors. Ukrainian forces made advances north of Kupiansk along the Oskil River and expanded controlled territory near Lyman. Conversely, Russia's Defense Ministry claimed captures near Sumy, while Russian Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov denied reported Ukrainian gains in Zaporizhzhia. Strikes on ammunition depots were also reported in Kyiv Oblast.
