Ukraine's General Staff reports over 220 daily engagements as Ukrainian forces advance near Kupiansk while repelling Russian assaults near Pokrovsk.

Fighting across the Ukrainian front line remained intense, with Ukraine's General Staff recording over 220 combat engagements in a single day. Russian forces mounted heavy assaults, particularly in the Pokrovsk and South Slobozhan sectors, where Ukrainian troops repelled dozens of offensive attempts.

Meanwhile, conflicting reports and tactical shifts emerged across other sectors. Ukrainian troops made localized gains along the Oskil River north of Kupiansk and expanded control near Lyman. Conversely, the Russian Defense Ministry claimed the capture of several villages near Sumy, while Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov publicly denied reports of Ukrainian progress in the Zaporizhzhia region. Additionally, strikes were reported against ammunition storage facilities in Kyiv Oblast.
