German authorities have intensified a nationwide manhunt following repeated sabotage attempts against critical electricity infrastructure in North Rhine-Westphalia, Brandenburg, and Saxony.

Police in Cologne confirmed that specialized launching devices were discovered near power substations in Dormagen and Weisweiler, following an initial tip from a passerby. Investigators also recovered an admission letter at the Dormagen site that references previous infrastructure attacks across multiple federal states.

State prosecutors and law enforcement agencies across Germany are coordinating efforts to identify the suspect and strengthen security measures around vulnerable energy facilities.
