Ukrainian and Russian forces report ongoing developments across eastern and northern sectors, including advances near Kupiansk and contested claims in Zaporizhzhia.

Military activity across eastern and northern Ukraine remains intense, with both Ukrainian and Russian forces claiming developments on several active fronts.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian troops are reportedly advancing along the right bank of the Oskil River, north of the city. Ukrainian authorities are also preparing to confirm the recovery of approximately 200 square kilometers of territory in the Lyman area. Meanwhile, Russia's Ministry of Defence reported capturing several villages on the approaches to Sumy in the north, and Russian strikes targeted ammunition storage facilities in the Kyiv region.

In the southern Zaporizhzhia sector, Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, personally refuted claims of recent Ukrainian tactical gains.
