Die Linke leads Berlin polling at 22 percent, while an administrative recount in Spandau awards a parliamentary seat to the AfD and shrinks the assembly.

Ahead of Berlin's state election, polling by Forsa places Die Linke ahead with 22 percent of the vote, largely driven by strong support among younger citizens. The Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and Alternative for Germany (AfD) follow tied at 18 percent, while the Social Democratic Party (SPD) trails at 12 percent.

Analysis of demographic trends reveals lower turnout among voters with migrant backgrounds, alongside growing interest in the AfD among some young citizens of Turkish origin who cite concerns over public safety and economic stability.

Additionally, election officials corrected a transmission error in a Spandau constituency. The adjustment reallocated a direct parliamentary seat from CDU candidate Bettina Meißner to AfD candidate Tommy Tabor, removing overhang mandates and reducing the size of the Abgeordnetenhaus by five seats.
