Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko accused NABU chief Semen Kryvonos of forgery before leaving Ukraine, prompting calls for his removal.

Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced charges against Semen Kryvonos, director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU), alleging document forgery and a fraudulent adoption scheme intended to evade court proceedings. Following the video announcement, Kravchenko reportedly left Ukraine in an official vehicle.

In response, NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) stated that Kryvonos had not received formal notification of suspicion. The agencies characterized Kravchenko's allegations as an attempt to disrupt an ongoing probe into a criminal enterprise involving current and former lawmakers, alongside senior officials within the President's Office.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy subsequently requested that parliament expedite Kravchenko's removal from office.
