A joint US-Ukraine Patriot missile manufacturing deal is postponed past winter, as Ukrainian drone strikes continue targeting logistics hubs inside Russia.

A planned agreement between the United States and Ukraine to jointly manufacture Patriot interceptor missiles is unlikely to be concluded before the upcoming winter, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker. In a televised interview, Whitaker characterized the co-production initiative as a long-term goal, though he noted that collaborative efforts with European allies to produce broader air defence equipment remain underway.

Concurrently, Ukrainian drone strikes struck logistics infrastructure inside Russia overnight. Regional authorities confirmed that a strike on a warehouse in the Moscow region killed at least five people and injured ten others. Additional drone attacks targeted distribution facilities connected to major retailer Wildberries across the Tver and Saint Petersburg areas, alongside wider nocturnal interceptions reported by the Russian defence ministry.
