A US-Ukraine deal to co-produce Patriot interceptors will not be completed before winter, as Ukrainian drone strikes target warehouse hubs across Russian regions.

A bilateral agreement between Washington and Kyiv to co-produce Patriot air defence interceptors will not be completed before the winter, according to US Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker. Speaking in a television interview, Whitaker indicated that although long-term manufacturing negotiations for the advanced system are ongoing, joint production initiatives for other air defence hardware continue alongside European partners.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted several logistics facilities inside Russia. Moscow Regional Governor Andrey Vorobyov reported that a strike on a warehouse resulted in at least five deaths and ten injuries. Additional drone strikes reportedly hit warehouses run by online retailer Wildberries across the Saint Petersburg and Tver regions, amid Russian defence ministry claims of widespread aerial interceptions.
