US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over a global sabotage and murder plot, while Danish intelligence reports direct Russian attacks on defense firms.

The United States Department of Justice has unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence agents with running a covert global network to execute targeted assassinations and sabotage operations against pro-Ukraine figures.

According to federal prosecutors in Manhattan, the operatives recruited and financed individuals across Europe and North America to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks, including a June 2024 incident in Prague and planned killings inside the United States. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian state actors executed direct sabotage operations against Danish defense contractors supplying military hardware to Ukraine. Danish officials characterized the acts as a significant escalation in Moscow's ongoing hybrid warfare campaign across Western nations.
