US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian agents over international assassination and sabotage plots, while Denmark reports Russian attacks on its defense contractors.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence agents accused of directing an international campaign of sabotage and assassination plots targeting supporters of Ukraine. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the network recruited individuals in North America and Europe to surveil and assault figures aligned with Kyiv, including orchestrating a June 2024 attack in Prague.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian operatives executed physical sabotage operations against Danish defense contractors providing equipment to Ukrainian forces, describing the incidents as an escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy. All five charged suspects remain at large. Russian officials have not publicly commented on the latest allegations.
