US federal prosecutors charged five alleged Russian agents over assassination and sabotage plots targeting allies of Ukraine, while Denmark reported attacks on its defense sector.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with directing a global network to conduct assassinations and sabotage against supporters of Ukraine. The suspects, who remain at large, reportedly paid or sought to recruit individuals in North America and Europe to surveil and attack target individuals and infrastructure.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service revealed that Russian operatives carried out physical sabotage against Danish defense contractors supplying Ukrainian military forces. Danish authorities characterized these actions as a significant escalation in hybrid warfare tactics aimed at disrupting Western aid.

Russian officials have not publicly responded to the charges or the Danish security allegations.
