US military forces struck targets on Larak Island, marking the first bombardment on Iranian territory in a month as diplomatic talks and shipping negotiations continue.

The United States Military Central Command carried out airstrikes against two missile launchers on Iran's Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz, marking the first direct American bombardment on Iranian territory in a month.

Simultaneously, US President Donald Trump declared that Tehran must pay financial compensation for historical attacks targeting foreign opponents and domestic protesters. In response to ongoing tensions, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Tehran would "immediately" return to its nuclear commitments if Washington honors the terms of their June agreement.

Despite the military action, Qatari mediators reported active negotiations aimed at securing a bilateral agreement. Additionally, Iranian officials confirmed an accord with Oman on geographic coordinates for a new transit route through the Strait of Hormuz, provided external powers do not interfere.
