US prosecutors have charged five alleged Russian operatives over a covert sabotage and assassination plot targeting Ukraine supporters in Europe and North America.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed an indictment against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating a covert campaign of targeted killings and sabotage across North America and Europe. The network reportedly paid individuals to surveil and attack targets supporting Ukraine, including conducting a June 2024 assault in Prague. All five suspects remain at large following the Manhattan federal court filing.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian-linked operatives executed targeted sabotage against Danish defense contractors supplying military equipment to Ukraine. Danish officials stated the actions reflect an escalation in Moscow's hybrid warfare strategy designed to undermine Western support for Kyiv. Russian authorities have not publicly commented on the allegations.
