US prosecutors unsealed charges against five alleged Russian agents over sabotage and assassination plots targeting Ukraine supporters, while Denmark reported Russian attacks on defense firms.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed charges against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating a global campaign of sabotage and planned assassinations targeting supporters of Ukraine.

According to an indictment unsealed in Manhattan federal court, the suspects recruited individuals across Europe and North America to surveil and attack targets aligned with Kyiv. The Department of Justice linked the network to a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five suspects remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark’s Security and Intelligence Service reported that state-backed Russian actors executed sabotage operations against Danish defense contractors supplying military hardware to Ukraine, characterizing the acts as a major escalation in hybrid warfare.
