US prosecutors charged five alleged Russian intelligence agents over assassination plots, while Denmark reported hybrid sabotage targeting defense suppliers.

United States federal prosecutors have unsealed indictments against five alleged Russian intelligence operatives accused of orchestrating assassination plots and sabotage campaigns across North America and Europe. According to federal authorities, the network hired individuals to conduct surveillance and carry out attacks targeting entities and individuals supporting Ukraine, including a June 2024 attack in Prague.

Simultaneously, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service stated that Russian state actors executed physical sabotage operations against Danish defense contractors providing military hardware to Kyiv. Danish officials described the incidents as an escalation in hybrid warfare intended to undermine Western assistance.

All five individuals charged in the Manhattan indictment remain at large as international law enforcement agencies proceed with their investigations.
