US federal prosecutors charged five alleged Russian intelligence agents with conspiring to assassinate supporters of Ukraine, while Denmark reported hybrid sabotage against defense contractors.

United States federal authorities have unsealed an indictment charging five alleged Russian intelligence operatives with running a covert global network tasked with assassination and sabotage operations against supporters of Ukraine. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the suspects recruited operatives across North America and Europe to surveil targets and carry out attacks, including a June 2024 incident in Prague. All five defendants remain at large.

Concurrently, Denmark's Security and Intelligence Service reported that Russian actors conducted sabotage operations against Danish defense contractors supplying military equipment to Kyiv. Danish officials characterized the attacks as an escalation in Kremlin hybrid warfare intended to undermine Western assistance to Ukraine.
