Ukraine reports over 250 combat clashes in 24 hours as defensive operations continue near Pokrovsk, Lyman, and Kupiansk.

High-intensity fighting persists across Ukraine's eastern front, with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recording more than 250 combat engagements within a single day. Russian forces directed significant assault efforts toward the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk sectors, launching dozens of attempts to penetrate defensive positions.

Concurrently, Ukrainian infantry secured tactical advances along the right bank of the Oskil River north of Kupiansk after electronic warfare units temporarily disrupted Russian unmanned aerial vehicle operations. Reports also indicate potential Ukrainian territorial gains of up to 200 square kilometers near Lyman. Meanwhile, conflicting claims remain regarding other sectors, as Moscow asserted the capture of several border settlements in the Sumy region, while Russian General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov denied reports of Ukrainian progress on the Zaporizhzhia front.
