Ukrainian service members and military commentators call for reforms in supply, rotations, award distribution, and mobilization procedures.

Ukrainian frontline personnel, commentators, and service members are urging reforms to resolve structural, administrative, and logistical challenges within the country's armed forces.

In recent interviews and reports, drone company commander Yuriy Butusov criticized the lack of institutional accountability for unit supply, stating commanders must secure essential equipment independently. Frontline surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel warned that indefinite service without predictable rotations damages morale and deters prospective recruits. Additionally, a study published by Ukrainska Pravda highlighted frustration over military awards, noting that commendations frequently favor command staff over soldiers on the front lines. To improve fairness in mobilization, serviceman Pavlo Kazarin proposed revising occupational deferments and military medical commissions.
