Ukrainian service members and commentators are urging administrative, logistical, and mobilization reforms to address long-standing challenges in the armed forces.

Ukrainian military personnel and commentators are calling for urgent systemic reforms across the nation's armed forces to improve frontline conditions and mobilization fairness.

According to statements from service members, administrative and operational deficiencies continue to hamper morale. Frontline drone commander Yuriy Butusov noted a complete lack of institutional accountability regarding unit supply, requiring officers to secure critical equipment independently. Frontline surgeon Bohdan Zhuravel cautioned that prolonged deployments without predictable rotations risk alienating troops and discouraging recruits.

Additionally, an analysis published by Ukrainska Pravda highlighted inequities in military awards, which frequently favor command staff over combat soldiers. To enhance trust in mobilization, serviceman Pavlo Kazarin proposed overhauling occupational deferments and military medical commissions.
