Ukrainian strikes target Samara aerospace facilities as eastern frontline clashes intensify
Ukrainian strikes hit industrial sites in Russia's Samara region as heavy combat continues across eastern Ukraine with more than 250 clashes reported in 24 hours.
Ukrainian missile and drone strikes targeted industrial and military facilities across multiple Russian regions, with impacts reported in Samara near the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the Aviakor aviation plant. Regional officials acknowledged a strike on an industrial facility, while satellite imagery and open-source monitors identified damage to production workshops associated with aerospace manufacturing and aircraft maintenance. Additional aerial activity was noted across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, including near the Savasleyka military airfield.
Simultaneously, intense fighting continued across eastern Ukraine. The Ukrainian General Staff reported over 250 combat clashes within a 24-hour span, citing sustained Russian offensive operations along the Lyman, Kostiantynivka, and Pokrovsk axes.
