Ukrainian strikes target Russian aerospace sites as frontline battles surge

Ukrainian forces conducted long-range missile and drone strikes targeting Russian industrial and military infrastructure, including the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the neighboring Aviakor aircraft repair plant in Samara. Satellite imagery confirmed structural damage to the Samara industrial complex, while local authorities and media reported additional aerial attacks across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions.

Simultaneously, frontline activity remained intense, with Ukraine's General Staff reporting 254 combat engagements in a single day. Russian troops conducted heavy assaults along the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors, pressed forward near the Oskil River close to Kupiansk, and broadened their area of control south of Dobropillia in the Pokrovsk direction. Military monitors also noted ongoing Russian efforts to stage video flag-plantings to exaggerate territorial advances. Meanwhile, Russian forces launched a missile strike against a major metallurgical facility in Ukraine.
