Ukrainian strikes target Russian aerospace plants as eastern front clashes escalate

Ukrainian missile and drone strikes have hit key Russian aerospace and defense infrastructure in Samara, alongside attacks reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions. Satellite imagery confirmed damage at the Progress Rocket Space Centre, known for manufacturing Soyuz carrier rockets, and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft maintenance plant. Explosions were also reported near the Savasleyka military airfield.

Meanwhile, heavy fighting persisted across eastern Ukraine, with the Ukrainian General Staff reporting more than 250 engagements within 24 hours. Russian forces concentrated assault operations on the Lyman and Kostiantynivka axes, attempted to bifurcate Ukrainian bridgeheads along the Oskil River near Kupyansk, and expanded territorial control south of Dobropillya.
