Ukrainian strikes target Russian aerospace facilities as eastern frontline clashes intensify
Ukrainian long-range strikes hit key Russian defence facilities in Samara and other regions, while over 250 ground clashes were recorded along the eastern frontline.
Ukrainian long-range strikes have targeted strategic Russian industrial and military sites across several regions, including Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov. Satellite imagery and local reports confirmed damage to an industrial complex in Samara housing both the Aviakor aircraft factory and the Progress Rocket Space Centre, a key manufacturer of Soyuz carrier rockets. Regional officials acknowledged a missile attack on industrial infrastructure, while additional strikes targeted areas near the Savasleyka military airfield.
Concurrently, intense ground combat continued across the eastern frontline, with Ukraine's General Staff recording over 250 clashes within 24 hours. Russian forces launched dozens of assaults along the Lyman and Kostiantynivka sectors, attempted to split Ukrainian positions along the Oskil River near Kupyansk, and expanded territorial control south of Dobropillya in the Pokrovsk direction.
