Ukrainian missile and drone strikes hit defense plants in Samara, while heavy combat continued along eastern frontline sectors.

Ukrainian forces conducted widespread missile and drone strikes against industrial and defense targets across Russia's Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions. Satellite imagery and social media reports indicated damage to Samara's Progress Rocket Space Centre, which builds Soyuz-2 launch vehicles, as well as the adjacent Aviakor aircraft repair plant. Samara's regional governor confirmed an industrial facility was targeted in a massive aerial assault.

Concurrently, intense frontline operations continued across eastern Ukraine. According to Ukraine's General Staff, forces recorded 254 combat engagements in a 24-hour period, with heavy Russian offensive efforts concentrated in the Lyman and Kostyantynivka sectors. Independent military tracking also noted expanding Russian positions south of Dobropillia and ongoing pressure near Kupyansk along the Oskil River.
