Ukrainian strikes hit Samara aerospace sites as heavy frontline fighting continues

Satellite imagery and official accounts indicate that Ukrainian missile and drone strikes targeted key aerospace facilities in Russia's Samara region, hitting workshops at the Progress Rocket Space Centre and the adjacent Aviakor aircraft plant. Aerial attacks were also reported across the Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, and Rostov regions, with local authorities confirming strikes on regional industrial infrastructure.

Simultaneously, severe frontline combat persisted across eastern Ukraine, with military reports recording over 250 daily clashes. Russian troops launched dozens of assault attempts to pierce Ukrainian defensive lines along the Lyman and Kostiantynivka axes while pushing to widen tactical control south of Dobropillya on the Pokrovsk front. Sustained fighting was also observed along the Oskil River, where Russian forces attempted to split Ukrainian positions.
